Hiren Doshi

Hiren Doshi is the leading Agile expert within India's PMI community with over 17 years of software development experience. As an Agile Coach, Trainer, and Consultant, he has guided enterprise environments from Singapore to Saudi Arabia to USA. He has led the adoption of Agile methods using Scrum for an enterprise scale complex software product ($300m+ annually) with geographically distributed  teams (200+)  at EMC Corporation. As a lead Agile coach he is currently helping Tesco.com, engineering operations with their Agile journey.  A highly sought after speaker at PMI and Agile events in India, Hiren also holds several credentials, including an MS Computer Science from University of Massachusetts USA, is a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB), and Project Management Professional (PMP). He is also the co-author of the upcoming “PMI-ACP Exam book” scheduled for release in January 2012.

Hiren has spent the last 12 years with EMC Corporation playing various roles like Principal Program Manager, Agile / Scrum Trainer and Coach, Scrum Master, Software Developer, and Quality Assurance engineer. He also pioneered the implementation of agile practices and mentored scrum masters within EMC. He is an Active Blogger at www.practiceagile.com on Agile/Scrum Methodologies where he shares his enterprise Agile and Scrum experience.

Hiren has spearheaded the design of numerous new organizational processes and continuous improvement of existing programs. His domain expertise is in SAN and NAS technology and has been involved in development of various storage applications software for Storage Resource Management, Replication technologies, Backup & Restore, and Disaster Recovery using .net and Java technologies.

Currently, Hiren is an Independent Agile Coach & Trainer at PracticeAgile assisting companies with full transformation to an agile organization ground up.
